An opportunity has arisen for a Compound Driver on a temp to perm basis. Must be physically fit as the role entails a lot of walking between sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transferring vehicles on site
  • Recording work activity using a mobile device.
  • Associated administration.
  • The occasional delivery of vehicles is required.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements

Clean driving license essential.

3 years of proven no claims to insurance

Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Friday 8.30am to 17:00pm

Powder Plant Operative

Job Title: Powder Plant Operative

Location: Stone, Staffordshire

Salary: 12.25 per hour Static Day Shift 

Job Type: Full Time temp to perm

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Powder Plant Operative to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining equipment involved in the production of powdered materials. This includes ensuring product quality, maintaining health and safety standards, and meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Operate powder processing and packaging machinery.
    • Monitor production processes and adjust settings as needed.
    • Conduct routine quality checks and record results.
    • Follow strict hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
    • Maintain cleanliness of the plant and equipment.
    • Assist with loading/unloading materials and products.
    • Report any faults or maintenance issues to supervisors.

Requirements:

    • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (ideally in powder processing) preferred.
    • Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Physically fit and able to lift/move materials as required.

Desirable:

    • Knowledge of chemical handling

Pipe Fitter

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Pipe Fitter to join our team working along side an Electrical site engineer, installing, commissioning and services of pumps and related equiptment. . This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in precision, safety, and quality work.

Key Responsibilities

    • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plumbing schematics.
    • Measure, cut, thread, and install pipes according to specifications.
    • Assemble and maintain piping systems for water, drainage, and other plumbing installations.
    • Conduct pressure tests and inspect systems for leaks or defects.
    • Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
    • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.

What We’re Looking For

    • Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter or similar plumbing role.
    • Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
    • Knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
    • Skilled in using pipe-fitting tools and machines.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Qualification:

    • High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred).
    • Minimum [X] years of experience in pipe fitting or plumbing.

Class 2 Driver

 

Are you an experienced LGV Class 2 driver looking for a new challenge? Join a dynamic team working on Multi Drop in and around Derby! You’ll be responsible for delivering goods to multiple locations, in and around Derby ensuring timely and safe deliveries. We are looking for reliable diligent Class 2  drivers!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate an LGV Class 2 vehicle in compliance with all legal and company guidelines.
  • Perform multi-drop deliveries to various customer locations.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of goods.
  • Load and unload goods as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service at each delivery point.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
  • Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Experience in multi-drop deliveries is preferred.
  • A good understanding of road safety and compliance regulations.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and able to handle heavy goods.

About Us

Class 1 drivers

Class 1 LGV Drivers

We work with companies across Stoke on Trent, this could be anything from General Haulage, shunting, trucking.

Stone, Staffordshire.

  • Guaranteed 8-hour minimum paid shift.
  • Excellent rates of pay
  • Guaranteed shifts up to a month ahead, dependent on contract.
  • Paid assessment and induction day (if contract requires)

Duties & Responsibilities: –

  • A minimum of 6 months Class 1 experience required.
  • A driving assessment may be required, dependent on contract.
  • No more than 6 points on license.

Hours: –

  • All shifts required including earlies, days, noons, nights
  • Shifts immediately available
  • Many contracts ongoing
  • Some temporary to permanent positions available
