Due to continual sustained increase in business, my client, a market leader has vacancies for “Manufacturing Production Operatives” to be based at their facility near Stone, Staffordshire.

 

 

The role:

 

  • Based within a busy production environment as a Manufacturing Operative
  • The set up and operation of coating and conversion machinery as per instruction
  • Loading of materials into the machinery as per job requirements
  • Selecting the correct program via touch-screen control panel
  • Machine minding to ensure that QC standards are being adhered to
  • Accurate completion of the relevant written paperwork, job sheets & reports
  • Adhering to all H&S requirements
  • Efficient working – working to 5s
  • Maintaining a clean working area
  • Assisting in other areas of the production area as required
  • Shift based role – 3 shifts – Days, noons, nights – rotating weekly
  • Continual training provided to develop and progress within the role

 

 

Candidate:

 

  • Knowledge and experience gained from within a manufacturing environment
  • Familiar with the operation of process machinery – set up / operate
  • Able to undertake a physical factory based role
  • IT literate – willing to learn in-house systems
  • Able to work a weekly rotating 3 shift pattern – days, ‘noons’ & nights
  • A solid work history and looking to pursue a career in the manufacturing industry

 

 

A starting salary of £19,000 pa + shift allowance is offered along with associated benefits.

Job Profile for FLT Operative (Counterbalance) 

 

We have an opportunity for a Fork Lift Truck Operative to be based with our client in Stone.

 

This is a temporary on-going contract, and will involve using a counterbalance FLT in a busy warehouse environment. This role will involve some heavy lifting, so applicants will need to consider this when applying.

 

FLT Operative (Counterbalance) Position Overview

 

  • Loading and Unloading goods
  • Transferring goods throughout the warehouse
  • Some heavy lifting of goods when loading and unloading pallets etc
  • Other warehouse duties as required

 

FLT Operative (Counterbalance) Position Requirements

 

  • Valid Counterbalance licence
  • Relevant experience to undertake the role
  • Candidates must be comfortable with heavy lifting

Due to “Britain getting back on her feet” and an increase of work, my client located near Stone is looking for a Labourer / Operative to assist with daily operations.

 

The role:

You will be assisting with removals of furniture and other objects. This is a physically demanding job and requires a lot of manual handling. The role will start off on a Part time basis and will grow into a full-time role over time. Counterbalance folk lift licence is an advantage as you would be in involved with some warehousing duties. Full UK driving licence is essential.

 

Candidate:

  • Full UK Driving licence essential, due to location
  • Counterbalance licence is an advantage
  • Willing to work in a physically demanding environment.

Counterbalance Forklift Driver

  • Starting pay rate is £10.00 per hour
  • Pay will rise after 13 weeks are completed
  • Possible temp to perm for the right candidate
  • Training will be provided, and the rate of pay will be reflected as milestones are achieved
  • Shifts are 4 on, 4 off on rotational shifts, so flexibility is essential
