We are recruiting for a residential permanent Support Worker, to cover the night shift for a company that  has expanded in the Stoke on Trent Shelton area, this position will be to provide assistance and support for people with learning difficulties.

 

Permanent  Support Worker  Overview

  • To maintain a high quality of care and support;
  • To provide a caring, supportive and nurturing environment;
  • Establish positive relationship with the residents;
  • Support the daily activities of the residents;
  • Keeping accurate records and providing written reports;
  • Provide emotional support at times of difficulty or stress.

 

Permanent  Support Worker Requirements

  • Being aware of the aims and objectives of the home and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve them;
  • Attending team staff meetings;
  • Actively contributing to development of the team;
  • Receiving and storing information to improve communication;
  • Being familiar with all policies and procedures and adhering to them.

Nights Permanent Contracts 10pm-6am / 9pm–7am

 We are currently recruiting for a private care organisation, We are looking for people with the right attitude and behaviours who want to work in a care environment.  You do not need to have previous experience as a full training and induction package is provided.

Waking night Position Requirements

You will have a positive passion for improving the lives of the people you care for, and ideally have experience, however full training is provided.

Drivers (HGV Class 1)

Guaranteed Hours until Xmas From £12.00 per hour

 

Direct Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd is recruiting for Class 1 Drivers on a variety of routes for our client who is based in the Stoke on Trent area.

What we are looking for…

The selected drivers must have a sense of urgency and the ability to think on their feet, hold a string work ethic, enabling them to deal with issues on the move to get the job done whilst representing the company in a positive manner.  Excellent communication skills, with flexible and professional approach to work.

You’ll have previous experience as a Driver and hold the appropriate driving licence and CPC training records.  Out on the road, you’ll be able to work on your own with minimum supervision, and since you’ll often be the first point of contact for all customers, your people skills will be of a top standard.

To apply you must meet the following criteria: –

  • Minimum of 12 months’ experience on Class 1 or if newly qualified on Class 1, at least 12 months’ experience on 7.5T work which must be check verifiable via references.
  • Must have a valid DCPC Card, Digi Card, no more than 6 minor points on your licence, no DR’s or DD’s.
