Assembly/Production Operators

We are working in partnership with our key client to recruit permanent operatives to work in various areas across their site.  These being the Floor Shed, Timber Frame Production Shed and Truss Department.

Order books are running at a very high rate due to the increase in the house building market.  They supply to customers in England and Wales from its modern production facility in Hixon, Staffordshire. We urgently require additional permanent operatives to join their existing teams.   

If you are looking for a position with a prestigious company, and are looking for late shifts Monday to Thursday, 16:00pm to 02:00am then we can offer you an immediate start.

If you are committed and looking for a permanent position that can offer training, a competitive hourly rate then this could be the position for you!

Due to the location, you will need to have your own transport.

Key responsibilities will include: –

  • Reading design specifications to create kits
  • Measuring and cutting large timber beams to the correct size and angle
  • Assembling timber to create frames using nail guns, knives, presses and saws etc.
  • Insulating completed frames and preparing pallets ready for shipping and distribution

Warehouse Stock Controller

A new vacancy has become available for a Stock Counter in the Warehouse. Reporting to the Senior Stock Controller the successful candidate will also be working with the Manufacturing team.

As the successful Stock Counter you must be PC literate, confident, reliable and willing to learn. Reach truck license is essential. Key to your capabilities will be, able to work on your own initiative, with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform regular-stock take and cycle counting during the year, while conducting reconciliation in case of discrepancies during cycle count schedule.
  • Operating a Forklift truck (reach truck)
  • Follow and implement the approved cycle counting schedule, so that discrepancies are identified and reconciled in a timely manner.
  • Record discrepancies and issues identified during the cycle counting and maintain accurate records.
  • Working towards achieving daily and weekly KPI’s.

My client is a well-established manufacturer based in North Staffordshire. The company has a wide range of customers and is continually growing. This position is offered as an ongoing position with the likelihood of a permanent position being offered to the successful candidate.

Electronics Assembler / Wirer Position Overview

  • Working in a modern production environment
  • Working from a wiring list and schematic diagram.
  • Safely using equipment to solder, crimp and assemble cables and connections
  • Working from job cards and daily sheets
  • Completing relevant records as part of the testing and inspection process
  • Other associated duties as required

Electronics Assembler / Wirer Position Requirements

  • Knowledge and background in the electronics, PCB, Surface mount or wiring industry
  • Have the ability to solder and crimp correctly and to a consistent standard
  • Be able to work efficiently

Electronics Assembler / Wirer Position Remuneration

  • Monday to Thursday 07:00 – 16:00
  • Friday 07:00 – 12:00
  • 30-minute lunch break
  • £7.83 per hour

FLT-Counter Balance Driver

We are currently looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operative to work in a warehouse based in Stone. The right candidate will confident when loading and unloading, moving goods, and will be capable of doing some heavy lifting work as and when required to assist the rest of the team.
