  • Inputting of receipts
  • Inputting times/scheduling
  • Making up purchase packs
  • Inputting of warranty data

A keen eye for detail is needed, this will be working in a busy environment. Training can be provided for the “right” candidate

Working hours are 08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday

Hourly rate-£11.50+ depending on experience

Production Operative

Direct Recruitment Urgently Require Permanent Production Operatives

For the Day Shifts.

We are working in partnership with our key client to recruit permanent operatives to work in various areas across their site.  These being the Floor Shed, Timber Frame Production Shed and Truss Department.

Order books are running at a very high rate due to the increase in the house building market.  They supply to customers in England and Wales from its modern production facility in Hixon, Staffordshire.

We urgently require additional permanent operatives to join their existing teams.

If you are looking for a position with a prestigious company, and are looking for day shifts Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 16:15pm then we can offer you an immediate start.

Due to the location, you will need to have your own transport.

Key responsibilities will include: –

  • Reading design specifications to create kits
  • Measuring and cutting large timber beams to the correct size and angle
  • Assembling timber to create frames using nail guns, knives, presses and saws etc.
  • Insulating completed frames and preparing pallets ready for shipping and distribution

Machine Operators

The Role

This is a shop floor based role and will involve the setup and operation of manufacturing machines. No specific experience is required as full training will be given. The successful candidates must have had prior experience operating machinery in a fast paced factory environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • The operation of a range of machinery and equipment
  • Ensure machines are running to optimum capability.
  • Ensure high levels of inspection and quality control.
  • Provide clear communication to both Managers and other team members.
  • Fully engage with any company improvement initiatives
  • General production duties upon request

Warehouse Operative

We work with several companies that are based in Stone, Staffordshire. We are looking for operatives for days and rotating shifts.

Warehouse Operative Overview:

  • The role will include a variety of tasks, however predominately this will include a lot of physical “hand balling” of goods from the containers into the warehouse. Working with weights up to 25kg.
  • Using scanners and the warehouse management system
  • Palletisation
  • Order picking
  • Light Goods in work is available

Job Details

  • Van will be pre-loaded, but you will be required to check the load is correct.

Job Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent (with no more than 3 points, SP only)
  • A minimum of 6 months UK 3.5 tonne van experience
  • A good level of physical fitness is an advantage
  • A good level of numeracy and literacy required
  • Must own a smartphone (for delivery destinations and proof of delivery)
  • Must be tech savvy and has knowledge of using WhatsApp and other applications
  • Daily vehicle check must be carried out

Driver Pay and Hours

  • £11.00/hour Monday to Friday
  • Ongoing work for the right candidate and Temp to Perm Contract Available
  • Length of shift varies but will be paid for a minimum of 8 hours
  • 24/7 support and assistance
