Breakdown Specialist  Overview

 

  • Receiving the packages delivered daily;
  • Identifying the correct PO or repair they relate to;
  • Unboxing products;
  • Processing products into the system;
  • Sending products to the correct repair department.

 

Breakdown Specialist Requirements

 

  • Computer literate
  • Would be advantageous to have a bendi licence
  • Able to work within a team environment to complete jobs;

 

Breakdown Specialist Remuneration

 

  • Monday to Friday – 8:00 – 17:00

Permanent Carer  Overview

  • Keeping accurate records and providing written reports;

Machine operator

We are representing a fabulous company that are a rapidly growing dynamic supplier to the print and packaging industries. We have an opening for a production operative in our sheeting facility where we convert packaging materials from reel to sheet servicing a wide range of UK based printing and packaging companies.

We are looking for a candidate who ideally has sheeting/ conversion experience or a good level of experience from the packaging/ print trade and can demonstrate the following:

  • A good understanding of paper and board grades
  • Knowledge of paper weights
  • Knowledge of paper sizes
  • Experience of handling paper or board materials
  • Experience of working with/print packaging related machinery operating at high speeds
  • Good attention to detail
  • Proactive approach to overcoming issues
  • A strong team work ethic

Machine Operator Roles and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a safe and clean working environment in the workplace
  • Carry out and document safety checks before commencement when operating machinery
  • Uphold the quality and hygiene standards required to meet the companies’ accreditations
  • Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards challenges given
  • Undertake the movement of materials (raw and finished) in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Follow documented works instruction carrying out checks to ensure adherence to quality
  • Operate sheeting machinery (or sections of the machine) in co-operation with other team members
  • Prepare materials required for the production of the expected orders.
  • Carry out and document quality checks at multiple stages of the production process
  • Contribute to the team’s efforts to meet production requirements
  • Wrap, strap and label products ensuring that it matches the product and meets the customers requirement
  • Undertake the loading and unloading of transport inbound and outbound as and when required
  • Co-operate with the team to effectively manage the work space to best accommodate material movements
  • Have a good awareness of the movement of people and vehicles within the work area to ensure safe practice at all times
  • Maintain a high level of time keeping
  • Communicate in a respectful and proactive manner with all staff
  • Must be able to work shifts (rotating weekly)

Class 1 driver

Direct Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd is recruiting for Class 1 Drivers for our internationally renowned client who is based in the Stoke on Trent area.

We are looking for reliable drivers to work the afternoon shifts, on a rota from Thursday to Tuesdays.  Alternately If you have available for 4 or 5 shifts per week, we would like to hear from you

WEEKEND BONUS WILL BE PAID

You will be store delivering and trunking to and from distribution centres nationwide.

What we are looking for…

A reliable and efficient work ethic and a desire to get the job done. You will demonstrate a flexible and professional approach to work.

You’ll have previous experience as a Driver and hold the appropriate driving licence and CPC training records. Out on the road, you’ll be able to work on your own with minimum supervision.

  • Minimum of 12 months’ experience on Class 1  which must be check verifiable via references.
  • Must have a valid DCPC Card, Digi Card, no more than 6 minor points on your licence, no DR’s or DD’s.
