About the Role

This role requires precision, technical expertise, and the ability to work safely with a variety of tools and machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, bend, and shape metal components accurately.
  • Assemble, weld, and join metal parts using appropriate techniques.
  • Operate machinery such as press brakes, shears, grinders, and welders safely.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet standards.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production teams to meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a metal fabricator or similar role.
  • Proficiency in welding (Automated) and metalworking techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a workshop environment.
  • Physical stamina and ability to handle heavy materials.

Desirable

  • Trade qualifications or certifications in metal fabrication or welding.
  • Experience with CNC machines or laser cutting equipment.
  • Forklift license (if required for material handling).

Requirements
