Material Controller

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Material Controller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow, accuracy, and availability of materials required for production and operations. You’ll play a key part in inventory management, stock control, and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, manage, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Schedule, track, and control material movements throughout the supply chain.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines and departments.
  • Conduct regular stock checks, audits, and reconciliations.
  • Update inventory systems and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Work closely with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams.
  • Identify material shortages, delays, or discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in inventory control and logistics.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in material control, inventory management, warehousing, or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software
  • Basic knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations.

Desirable

  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or production environments.
  • Forklift license- IS A MUST
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Fabrication Operatives-Nights

We are recruiting for a Fabrication Operative, for a company based in Stone, Staffordshire. The role will involve a variety of work. The role is on a night shift working Sunday to Thursday 2200-0600hrs

This position will include a high level of physical work, so manual training will be given

  • Grooving and Threading bars
  • Sawing
  • Operating a semi automated weld machine

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Powder Plant Operative to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining equipment involved in the production of powdered materials. This includes ensuring product quality, maintaining health and safety standards, and meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Operate powder processing and packaging machinery.
    • Monitor production processes and adjust settings as needed.
    • Conduct routine quality checks and record results.
    • Follow strict hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
    • Maintain cleanliness of the plant and equipment.
    • Assist with loading/unloading materials and products.
    • Report any faults or maintenance issues to supervisors.

Requirements:

    • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (ideally in powder processing) preferred.
    • Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Physically fit and able to lift/move materials as required.
