Technical Sales Engineer

Direct Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd are working with a BRAND NEW client, based in Eccleshall, Staffordshire. We are looking to recruit a talented Technical Sales Engineer. 

This position is primarily responsible for providing professional and competent telephone support and service on the company’s in-house system. You will be expected to build positive relationships both internally and externally and be responsible for the efficient, effective handling of the technical enquiries.

This position has a start date of 3rd October 2022.

Responsibilities

• To develop links to clients via all communication channels, promoting the complete product and services offered.
• Efficient and effective handling of the Technical Support process
• Proactive promotion of the company and product portfolio
• Working with the sales team to maintain and develop existing customers and win new clients and business.

Candidate Requirements

• Full and clean driving licence with own vehicle – to accommodate to rural location
• Education to a minimum of degree level
• Experience in data handling with high level knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office programs
• An Electrical/Technical understanding/background would be beneficial
• Strong ability to build, develop and maintain customer relations
• Desire to optimise the use of technology to increase the success of the company
• Outstanding communication and organisational skills
• Have a logical approach to interpreting client’s technical requirements, with the ability to offer confident and accurate product placement
• Able to work under pressure and remain calm in challenging situations

Hours and Pay

• £35-47,000/year – depending on experience
• Office based
• Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00
