CNC Lathe Setter & Programmer

Robotic Breakdown Support Engineer
Urgently required Applicants would ideally have experience within automotive maintenance, along with City & Guilds 17th Edition regulations, good working knowledge of AutoCAD and Mig welding skills. Job Purpose- To provide breakdown support to manufacturing areas, carry out improvements and preventative maintenance on equipment. Key Duties- - Renovation and routine maintenance of assembly equipment - Timely response to equipment stoppages - Improvements to assy equipment (Kaisan) - Adherence to departmental systems (Pm, recording downtime) - Key performance indicators such as equipment OEE - Other General duties as required. Technical Expertise Required- - City & Guilds 17th edition regulations - Completed a recognised electrical or mechatronic apprenticeship - HNC / ONC electrical qualifications preferred - Reasonable level of mechanical aptitude including welding, fabrication and mechanical fitting - IT literacy, applications such as, Word, Excel, AutoCAD - Experience with PLC (programmable logic controllers) and HMI?s (human machine interface) - Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems - Knowledge of the Mig welding and Spot welding process - Ability to coach others In addition, applicants must have good experience within an automotive maintenance environment and have an up to date work knowledge of European health and safety laws. Working Hours- shifts 06.00 to 14.00 ? 14.00 to 22.00 Mon-Thurs and 06.00 to 13.00 ? 13.00 to 20.00 Friday

To suggest and implement cost reduction projects throughout the business To work closely with customers, preparing project plans in line with customer requirements To manage small teams of production and engineering staff.

Sheet Metal Engineer
Job Purpose- To introduce, develop and support sheet metal components / fabrications from concept to production using Radan and associated sheet metal equipment. Developing skills and systems with the sheet metal area. Key Responsibilities will include: Creation, modification and support of CNC programs for various sheet metal machinery (Including CNC punch press, laser and folding equipment). Develop tooling databases to control the use of CNC tooling including insert equipment To ensure equipment is utilised to maximum efficiency and components are manufactured using optimum methods to customers specifications To take a lead role in the NPI (New Product Introduction) process developing product, process and tooling in line with Customer requirements and business needs To be involved with continuous improvement projects, increasing efficiencies, skills and quality levels. Continuously review production / manufacturing methods suggesting and implementing improvements Work closely with and support other members of the engineering and quality team. To be involved in cross departmental projects taking a lead role in the development of production staff
